The GESPER series have line filtering, line conditioners, noise suppression, power conditioning components, surge protection and power factor correction capacitors. The claims that TVSS units will not save energy are TRUE. This is why the GESPER is not a TVSS unit. A TVSS unit only addresses transient voltages and surges. The GESPER addresses many more functions at the same time. Some people have a misunderstanding of the GESPER units. We have many of the same components as a TVSS system. The GESPER unit uses these components in a different manner along with many other components to make the unit save energy, protect from surges, transient voltages and down-line lightning strikes.
Once again, any claims by a TVSS manufacturer, which is only a TVSS unit that concerns energy savings, are false. Consumers beware of fraudulent salespeople making these claims. The TVSS system, could in fact, consume a small amount of electricity.
There is an additional benefit to the GESPER units. We all benefit whenever a GESPER unit is installed, by the reduction of the chemicals that are the by-products of electrical generation. The reduction of kWh and the power factor increase (less demand) will reduce the amount of electricity that needs to be generated, therefore, reducing the amount of chemicals that are being released into our atmosphere.
A TVSS (transient voltage surge suppressor) will not reduce the amount of kWh consumed. The only time that the elements in the TVSS unit, that are for the surge and lightning protection work, is in an over voltage situation. The main purpose for the TVSS is to shunt the over voltage harmlessly to ground. There is not any way possible for the TVSS unit to save kWh.
We have developed a means in which we incorporate the surge and lightning protection along with other electrical and electronic components to interact with the consumers electrical system to deliver cleaner power, correct the power factor to some degree, to reduce harmonics in a system (that has the wiring corrected) and to deliver a system that will reduce the amount of energy consumed by almost any system.
Everyone in the United States is aware of the need to reduce the dependency on foreign oil. Much of the generation of electrical energy is co-dependent of this fuel. The GESPER name stands for reducing the harmful chemicals in the environment and will help with Global Warming. The GESPER unit will help decrease the need for foreign fossil fuel, while reducing your over all bill for electrical charges.
